Katherine Wilde

Katherine WildeKatherine Wilde studied music at Christ Church, Oxford University, graduating in 2006 before going to train as a secondary school teacher with Teach First.

In 2010 Katherine became one of Contact’s Future Fires, securing funding from The Paul Hamlyn Foundation and O2 ‘Think Big’ to set up the community opera project SOAP (Salford Opera Action Performance), working with volunteers from Lower Broughton and young professional musicians from the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) to explore and perform Stravinsky’s The Wedding.
